1.0.0 Not yet released
First release for iPhone and iPad, based on VLC and focused on native iOS interactions.
- Videos, Browse and Settings use a system tab bar. Browse folders in grid, list or detailed views, with sorting, playback progress and watched status.
- Play videos in the current directory order, with previous/next controls, audio tracks, subtitles, playback speed, aspect ratio and repeat options.
- Layouts and playback controls adapt to iPhone Duo folding, unfolding and rotation, while respecting system safe areas.
- Play videos from SMB and other local servers or network links, or download them to your library for offline playback.
- Manually enable local network file transfers to upload or download through a browser on another device. The switch is off on each cold launch.
- A native About page introduces Perfilm and keeps the original open-source licenses and acknowledgments accessible.
